The message disappears instantly, and no codes are thrown. I have been told to not be concerned about it.
That's exactly what happens to my Z.

Got this DIC message for the first time tonight.

Same experience as everyone else. Came on at startup and quickly went away. 13-14 volts showing on the gauge right after the message.

Hmm... was planning my audio install for this weekend and was about to do the "big 3 upgrade". Maybe this will help?

Any of you guys that have seen this already have the "big 3" done?

Yep....I've seen it done. Aside from the pretty wires.....it's a waste of time......you won't hear that from a stereo installer though.

Default Check batter terminals

My vette was doing this. Turned out that I had a loose battery terminal that on occasion would open circuit.

I've done the big three on other vehicles and seen first hand it resolve dimming lights and voltage fluctuation issues. I was asking about the big three in hopes that it might solve this new (to me) "Charging System Fault" message.

Just wondering if those that have seen this message have done this upgrade or not.

Cheers!

I got the "Charging System Fault" message once. When I popped the clutch at 20mph with the ignition on to see if it would start the car.. Guess I shouldn't do that lol

I found the field wire connector on the alternator was corroded (oxidized). Took it apart and cleaned it with deoxit. Since then the battery has always been charged up - and no messages.
