Tonight my passenger window on my 2004 c5 Z06 won't go down. Just hear a click, click. Is this a dealer issue, an anybody can fix issue ... or I can fix issue?
just a guess but could be the window relays in the door module if you can solder you can fix your self below is how to remove door panel, also you could swap modules to see if its bad relays....could be some threads on repair, so a search would also help ya
if you hear a clicking, that is the relay which should be fine. i have the same prob with my '03. it should be the motor. i opened up my motor and turned it by hand, put it back together and it worked for a week. i may have to replace the motor which is sold with tracks for about $100 or so. this my be your prob too.

Same here...99 coupe. Passanger side window won't go down. I hear click, click...but it won't go down. This happened to me 8 months ago. Then one day it started to work normally, without any reason. Kept working, and is now stuck again..
I know this may sound bad. But try hitting mid door right below the window switch.
Something with connections inside..
Or was with mine...
After years of going back an fourth with my problem i finally took it in an guy tood my he clean the pins an connectors. Never had a probablem since.
Cost me 70 bucks to do. Well worth it to me..
Goodluck
Mine quit too, didnt hear the click but I am half deaf. I bypassed the module to get the window up, ordered used one from ebay, ($99 vs, about $450 for new) 10 minute job to replace and window is good now.

your relay must have been bad if you did not hear the clicking. you could have just replaced the relay for $10. a simple soldering job. there is a post on here somewhere about how to do it. save your old module.

The most common failure (if you hear the relay click) is the regulator motor itself. I suspect its due to lack of use in non-convertibles (top-down opens both windows automatically).
I'd suggest opening up the failing door, then disconnect the 2 wires going into the window motor and put a volt-meter across them. If you get +/- 12V when actuating the up/down window controls (from the same door), the DCM (door control module) relays are doing their job and the motor is at fault. If zero volts one way (down) but OK up, a relay is at fault.
Actuating up/down controls from the driver door when working on the passenger door's window regulator is relying on the OBD-II bus to relay messages between DCM's. It's best to test from the same door control as it is hardwired into that DCM module.
I just banged on mine and got it to go up and down....see how long it does that for. Thanks for the "bang on the door with your hand until it works" plan!

Your wires are lose inside the door, and it does help to clean up the connections if they look a little dirty.
I had that prob. when the car (`03 Z06) was about a year old. fixed under warr. Could hear the click. Then after a couple years, it started not working intermittently again. Read a post on here that it could be caused by the window stop letting it go up too far and jamming the motor, and to try not quite letting the window go all the way up. So I`ve been just keeping it maybe a 1/16th - 1/8th " from all the way up. And it has worked fine for 4-5 years now. (knock on wood!)
My passenger window on a 2000 convertible quit working and I would hit the button every time I would drive the car and I could hear clicking. but out of the clear blue the window worked for about a week. It quit working so I took the door panel off and unplugged the wires to the motor and was getting voltage but I didn't know what to do then, so I read on corvette forum you can tap the motor and it will start working, so I tried that and it is working. I am not putting it up all the way so maybe it want get stuck again. THANKS
I just bought my 02 C5 and brought it home 2 days ago and what did I discover....the passenger window does not role down!!!!
I hear a clicking noise so I believe the door module is in working condition and motor getting voltage. I did the whole taking the sccrew driver and hitting the motor screw to jar it lose but still no luck.
I took of the lock & window button to be able to get right behind motor and hit the extruded circle with a wrench handle and still nothing.
I checked the male/female connector inside the rubber between the door, saw a slight pulled clear wire but when pushed still just clicking. Then I thought if the clear wire was not connected (or loose) it wouldnt give me power or clicking noises, right?!?
Next step is to take of the door panel...and try to rotate the motor by hand...I dont know what to do if that doesnt work....HELP!!
