Your air tubes and oil dipstick won't line up. I'm running early year headers on my 03. I simply removed the air tubes(block off plates) and the dipstick just had to be bent over a bit.

How did you block them off and what brand are you running? Thanks!

you must use your 01 tube, in fact us 00 guys that buy tsp headers have to get 01 dipstick tubes to make it all work.

air tubes do not matter because tsp headers do not have the attachment hole that they would bolt to. if you get tsp headers you must remove all AIR stuff and have it programmed out of the PCM or you will get a CEL. They are very easy to install.

That is UNLESS he bought a used set of the old design from back when we did have the option for air fittings.

I'm running Bellangers For block off plates I just cut pieces of metal using the gasket as a template. Then bolt them to the headers with the gasket. Then you can remove the air tubes and pump from the car altogether. You will have to get it tuned to remove the code for them though.

One thing to note. A few people who have used block off plates like this have had problems with the tube on the headers getting hot and cracking around the welds. Though personally I've run like this on a few cars and never had a problem.
