This morning I'm T-shooting my P410 code, the air pump is not turning on. So far I'm checked the fuse and relays. I swapped Micro relay 33 with the horn relay and I swapped Micro relay 40 for the air valve to open on the pump also with the horn, No change….the pump is not turning on. Now that I've let the engine run for more than a few minutes, I think I'm pass the software test points. Since I don't have a Scan tool, I'm not able to command the relays. I could jumper the relays and measure the voltage at the pump. Can anyone tell me the ease way the get to the pump?
I also plan on inspecting the vacuum lines under the Battery next. I'll keep this post updated as to my progress and if anyone has any suggestions please chime in.
My Vette is a 1998 coupe and is stock except for a cold air intake.
Thanks
