Default stupid steering wheel

Ok so i am officially 115% done with this stock monster they call a steering wheel. any suggestions? i really want an old school small diameter wheel, either an old 3-spoke or a new style, like this grant 1440 evolution gt,

i just cant find the adapter that will allow this wheel to fit my car ('03 base) Either way i want something in the 13" area as that's what i learned to drive on and what is most comfortable to me. i dont care about the aitbag or horn, i can jerry rig the horn just fine and i don't care about the airbag so... any hints, tips or advice would be greatly appreciated, especially a picture of the column without the wheel so i have an idea of what i need without having to pull my own wheel.

Does Florida have a state vehicle safety inspection program ? If so, check the air bag requirements, you might have to reinstall the stock wheel. Here in VA, the state inspection requires ALL federally mandated OEM safety equipment ( airbags) to be installed and operational. No bags, you fail inspection and you can't drive car.

we have no emmisions or safety inspections unless you decide to deliver for pizza hut so i'm safe unless i wreck in a major way and the insurance comes snooping and in that case.. well i'll figure it out from there

i think i could figure out a way to get that to shut off. and even if i cant it would be worth it to get a decent steering wheel.

yea if you just love a slow huge trucker wheel. the thing would be at home in my 1-ton, o wait my 1-ton duelie has a smaller steering wheel that the corvette. just because it works doesn't mean it should. a 100 hp 4 banger would work just fine in your car but you have how many cylinders??

i have i don't like them. my bias comes from i was taught how to drive in a truck with a 13" grant classic steering wheel. and once you become accustom to something it's hard to get over it.

I learned how to drive in a 66 Impala, but I've never changed a steering wheel in any of the 11 vehicles I've owned....

I thought a vendor had a smaller steering wheel that let you keep the airbag? I agree I feel like I'm trying to use a big rig steering wheel hand over hand the stock interior is pretty bad as it is this just expands on it even more.

This is my personal car:

Nit installed yet because the company I ordered my hub from sold me a monster of a hub for like a C3! lol (to this day the owner says he's sold thousands to vettes mhmm )

Lol Doug is surely a character he really doesn't like anything done to the car and a lot in his mind is stupid lol but hey oh well lol.

You can take the bulb out the back, or solder in a resistor and "trick" the system.

Someone has the thread on how to. I use to

And Cwiss the wheel doug posted is the same wheel just rewrapped, unless you get the D-style which is a little more sporty but probably the same diameter.
