Default Jacking bracket

I remember at some point seeing a bracket that looked like it was for lifting the front or rear of a c5 with one jack. It looked to be 14-16" long and had two spots to go onto the jacking slots and a center point for the jack. I have yet to lift my c5z as I've only had it for a week. So I don't even know if dimensionally its possible.

I'm looking for the fastest way to swap out tires when i get to autox or track events.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about please post links or pics. Or if it's been tried and not possible let me know. Thanks guys

I have one. I bought it from Summit Racing several years ago. I had to modify it some as it was too wide. I think they are about $40.00. They are out there you just have to find them.

I would not bother with one of those brackets. The easiest way to swap out wheels / tires is to jack up each side of the car. Get or make one of the jacking pucks, place it in the front frame rail slot ( just behind front wheel ) and lift the car. You can easily get the front and rear tire off the ground when lifting from this point. A quicky jacking puck can be made from a hockey puck and a 1/4" screw eye bolt. Check other forum posts on pucks, there are several inexpensive designs used.

I use a short section of 2x4. If it gets really dinged up or starts showing signs of cracking I throw it away and cut another section of 2x4. It leaves the aluminum unscratched.
