Anything that you can bolt on without diving into the engine is going to be your best bet. What is your budget? Air intake system and manifold, exhaust, headers and programming are probably going to be your best bang for the buck.

Some low cost headers and a set of C5 ZO6 Titianimum Mufflers, a VARARAM, ported Throttle body, a set of higher ratio differential gears and a FULL TUNE!

The sucker wil FLY!
you mean lower gears, right (from 3.15s to 3.73s or so)
and a ported TB by itself won't be very cost-effective, but will help a bit in a string of intake flow modifications
Well,, 410 is higher than 273 but the ratio is LOWER.
Yes a ported TB will help. Its not a significant power adder but,, if your getting a FULL tune, might as well get all you can under the knife so it runs efficiency.
Low cost headers as in XS Power vs LG Pro Racing headers. There are lower cost headers that work excellent. If your not out for name brand bragging rights, they are an excellent header. Sure the LGs are very nice but on mostly stock bot on daily driver or occasionally driven on the track car,, what are you loosing??
$2500 also looking for a good tuner in long Island ny area
If u don't mind a little windshield time take a trip to "corvettes of weschester" in PA and have Chuck Cow tune your car. Everyone who has him tune their A4 car is very happy.
I have to agree with everyone elses suggestions
Vararam intake, 1.75" headers and used xpipe and catback exhaust. Used 3.42 diff from a 6spd car,
3600rpm yank converter, tranny cooler, 160dg stat followed by a good tune.
If u have any $ leftover save it for new rear tires if u want to spend more for more power after all that headwork and a cam would be next on my list. Do all u can before u get the tune so u don't have to do it twice. I did all the above to my 99' auto without the headwork & cam(yet) & it's like a differant car

I doubt 2,500 will get you all of this especially with installed prices, maybe some.
