Changed the oil back in April. Just yesteday I got the Low Oil Level display on the DIC. Don't see any leaks under the car or around the engine. Sure enough the oil was at the bottom line on the dipstick.
I will probably pull some of the plugs tomorrow. Did a plug change in April also and all was normal in there.
Is there something common as to why I lost the oil?
Thanks. V/r Al

Reason: update
Did you look at the dipstick anytime before the low oil warning came on? It's possible it was not filled properly and just tripped the monitor now. If it was full and then at the bottom of the stick later, a catch can might let you know what's happening.
My 04 uses oil as well , have to add at leat 2 to 3 times between oil changes. I drive it hard all the time, its running great so I just add when needed and keep on hammering on it. It started this about 10K miles ago, its cammed and has about 90K on the clock.
It's more than likely the oil level sensor on the passenger side of the oil pan. I got a low oil level light on my 01' but when I checked the oil level was fine.. Bought a new sensor from my local oreilly and it fixed it... They are known to go bad from time to time.... I would wait until your next oil change to swap sensors... Quite a bit of oil comes out when you swap sensors....
Mine just did this on my weekend trip to my camper. Scared the crap out of me. I'm thinking ok what's this and what's next. I was about a quart low so I filled it up and the message still kept coming on.
Almost ready for an oil change anyway so I guess I'll be changing the sensor.
FWIW I have been reading about members switching oil and solving the consumption issue. The new Pennzoil Platinum has been getting good reviews on here...been considering it myself since I have no warranty to worry about

I use a little oil. Just figured it was normal. There is a different oil which stops/reduces this ?
FWIW I since new I have been using M1 10W30 with no issues. I also use no oil between changes on the oil minder. I have 89,000 miles and it stilll doesn't use any oil (not have to add and not a qt down). But granted it is a 99 w/o the ring issue.
