If it comes on and goes off shortly after the engine starts,, its nothing to worry about.
If the car is NEW to you,,, I recommend removing the battery terminals, cleaning them and reconnecting them using the correct torque:
97-2003 = 11 ft/lbs
Also check the NUT on the back of the alternator on the BATT Terminal. It should be clean and tight.
You should also MAKE SURE that the "STARTER SOLENOID" wire connections on the main solenoid terminal are clean and tight.
The alternator to battery connection goes thru the main connection on the solenoid.
