C6 Steering rack in C5

C6 Steering rack in C5
I need to replace a leaking steering in a 1999 C5 and would like to know if anyone has installed a C6 rack as a replacement. If someone has installed a C6 rack what were the issues?

The C6 steering rack changed in 2008. That one is supposedly not interchangeable, although this hasn't been confirmed yet. I'm fairly certain that the rack in the earlier C6s is identical though.

Get it rebuilt by TurnOne: http://www.turnone-steering.com/. It costs about $250. They did mine in 1 week, had it back in ~2 (shipping time)
