My 97 is displaying abs light about half the time. Usually comes on after a good bump. I'm aware of the EBCM problems but all my codes relate to the RR wheel sensor. Pulling the following codes
You might try looking at the rear wheel sensor, cleaning it, and making sure it has a good connection. My 99 did this on the front wheel, I did this, and have not seen any display probs for quite a while now.

It could be the wheel speed sensor or it could be the EBCM. The first EBCM had a design issue that caused errors just like the one you are seeing. I flat spotted a number of tires when autocrossing with my 97 due to the ABS failing when going over bumps. It took close to two years to get the updated EBCM to the field and not many people had them installed since they didn't drive the cars enough to find the problem. If it is the EBCM one way to solve the problem is to mount a toggle switch on the center console that allows you to turn the EBCM power off and back on every time it fails. The EBCM will reset, do its self check and work fine until the next special bump.
Ok here is what I did.
The first thing I did was make sure battery was fully charged and it was, then I went thru and cleaned up four of the main grounding points. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...tion-long.html here is the link. Then I pulled the connector on the RR wheel sensor cleaned it and snapped it back on. It's been three days and no abs or tcs lights.
