Shifter installation question

How long did it take to replace the stock shifter? Does anyone have a site set up with the step by step?

About 20 minutes, very straight forward.

3 torx screws, 4 ten mm nuts hold the console in place. The hardest part of the install is getting the push T-pin removed from the stock shifter ****. Vice grips or two stright edge screw drivers will do the trick. The install is very basic. 1 hour tops for a novice.

You can make it even easier. You only have to remove the skirt around the shifter - it pops right out. Then access the bolts that attach the shifter to the frame. Becareful not to loose the position pin when you lift the stock shifter out. Install the new shifter and replace the skirt. This take about 5 minutes.

Very easy. Took my a total of 1 hour from start to finish and I tool my good old time. I used Patches instructions. They're exact!

Thanks - I like your site. I already finished the install, wish I had seen that first. By the way, if you are not going to change the boot, you do not need to take it off. I left mine in place when I did the job. Here is my mess -
