Default Help with code P 0137 (heated oxygen sensor)

Do I have to be concerned with this code? P 0137 Heated oxygen sensor (H02S) Circuit Low voltage bank 1 sensor 1. The car has not been used for 2 years and it seems to running good until I go WOT and then the engine infrequently goes into a reduced mode and I stop and turn off the car and restart it and it runs fine.2000 A4 with magnuson s/c and stainless works headers. I think my alky pump is not working. Thanks.

Most likely, you've got a bad connection on that sensor's connector or it's wires are touching the exhaust and melting. I would be concerned. No clue what you are referring to as a "alky pump" or I'm just not awake yet this morning.

The alky pump refers to the pump for my methanol system. I mention that cause I don't know if that has anything to do with the code coming during WOT. Where can I find this oxygen sensor ( is there more than one) and where do I look for fried wires ( near the headers or the back by my borla exhaust). Thanks.

There are four o2 sensors on your car. Two at the collectors where the headers meet the mid-pipe and two about halfway down the mid pipe. The one your getting an error on is at the drivers side front sensor at the collectors. There's a diagram and wiring schematics in this thread. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...ious-help.html

Check your wiring and let us knw what you find. How many miles on the car?

Newby question. Does anybody have a picture of these sensors and the location of these sensors. I had the wires to the relay to the fuel pump below the car battery chewed up by rats. I used soder and reconnected 3 chewed wires and the fuel pump has worked fine since. Would this relay/ wires have anything to do with this code going off?
Car has 28 K miles. Thanks for your help.

See the thread I linked to above. Diagram that shows bank 1 sensor one (it's the thing sticking into the pipe above the collector connected to the electrical connector) in post 11. Wiring schematic in post 2.
