windshield wipers
My symptoms: Wipers would stay on until I turned off the car or pulled the fuse. When I turned off the car to the accessory position, the wipers would rest in the bottom of travel (i.e. not in the park or rest position).
Then I replaced the control board based upon threads and part guy information. Same symptoms. Then I went after the wiper stalk. When i pulled the wiper stalk plug, the wipers would act as stated above with the car running. Ah Ha!

I ordered a new wiper stalk. Issue fixed. However, my timing was all off because I had messed it up like a big dummy. Please refer to color picture in thread:

To reset the motor in it's "park" position.
Install motor with the transmission connected not connected.
Cycle wiper motor using the wiper stalk controls to ensure it is reset to the park position.
Now, connect the transmission to the wiper motor as shown in the picture in the thread listed above.
Cycle the wiper motor again to ensure it is in the right spot.
Being careful to not move the motor position, attach the wiper blades in the "park" position.
I was lucky and got the blades to work correctly on the first shot.
I wish you all the luck on your endeavors with the stay-on wiper blades.
I also used thread http://www.101corvetteprojects.com/2...-installation/ to aid in the removal of the console and dash to get to the wiper stalk. I did not have to remove the steering wheel tilt lever.
