Gauge backlight
I drove my 2004 at night for ther first time yesterday and noticed that the techometer was not as bright as the other gauges. Do I have a light bulb out? If so, how difficult are they to change.
I remember when I had a 1987 that it had about 8 bulbs and I had to remove a lot of stuff to change them.
I also saw something about a 'Parade Mode' in the manual. What is this and could it have anything to do with my problem?

The background illumination is accomplished voa two high-voltage tubes. I've never heard of one failing yet but I don't think they are sold by themselves in any way. Its possible the high voltage power supply that feeds it is having issues or just the lamp has somehow become disconnected. Either way, you'll need to pull the cluster out to find out.
