Throttle Body Question
I have an 80mm BBK ported throttle body I bought from another Forum member. I installed it and did the relearn acording to the BBK directions. After 300 miles it still idles poorly, surges a lot during acceleration and when cruising steady at any given speed. The car is an LT1 auto with Vararam and LT headers. Had a mail order tune after CAI install and all was fine. Installed the headers and still ok. Then I put the BBK on and thats what it did. Took it off and it runs fine. Going to send PCM for another tune since headers. Just wondering if there's anything to be done other than use the BBK as a paper weight. Not really worth the $$$ for a dyno tune for a 5-10hp bolt on.

You should have waited with the tune until you did your mods first. Also your maf sensors may have oil on them from the new vararam filter. Try cleaning maf sensors but be very careful not to damage them.
