Jumped into my '03 C5Z to move it today, and it threw codes. "Service TCS, AH, TC" So I did the code trick and it gave me the following codes
PCM
P1639 H
P1638 H
TCS
C1214 HC
C1276 H
IPC
B0521 H
U1160 H
I am a new owner and have searched around a little, but I need someone to walk me through what this means. Does this mean I have to do the EBCM repair everyone is always talking about or do I need a new battery or what? The car is basically bone stock, except for a Blackwing Intake. Wheels are stock, but I am running 275 tires in the front rather than 265, but people on here said that wouldn't trigger anything.
So, what do I need to do to fix this? And is the car driveable in the meantime? I have my first autox this weekend in the car, should I cancel going until this is fixed?
I replied on your other post, clear the codes and when the lights come on again re-check them. If on 1214 at that point you need to resolder the EBCM.
Easy fix, buy the Torx #20 drivers and send to the auction guy for a $50 repair.

Yeah my problem is that I have some health issues that make simple repairs like this very challenging. I have a friend visiting from out of town who I will try to coach through this. He isn't very mechanically inclined, but maybe between the two of us we can do it.
