1.8 Rockers ... Need Some Input
I have a medium cam, 224/228 .533/.535 (approx.) with GTP Stage II heads, etc. 400rwhp. I was told that the 1.8's are worth 32/1000's of lift. So I assume that would make my cam more like .565/.567 which would be pretty similar to say the hammer cam from MTI. If I can get the rockers for free (only have to pay for install), is it worth it? Will I mess anything up? I was also told that on 2000's and up they would fit with stock valve covers (I have an 01).
They claim upto 18hp which for a few hundred dollars on install wouldn't be bad.
