Is there anyone that can test the module I just dont want to guess whats wrong. thanks for your reply
To my knowledge there is no place to take the EBCM for testing other than installing in another car. Using a volt/ohm meter can aid in troubleshooting. Need to check under hood fuses 5, 52, & 53(there could be others). Ground points G101 (Forward lamp harness, on frame rail between LH headlamp opening assembly and generator near the EPCM), G108 (Forward lamp harness, below the battery tray on the frame rail). Check connections at the EPCM and connections between EBCM and the BPMV.
well i picked up a used ebcm and still the same 1255 code and no comm I checked the ground connection at the battery all looks good they are eyelet type connectors I also took the ground connector apart pass side up by headlight on rail cleaned everything, also same on other side but removed connector and soldered a connector to all the wires to get rid of the plug type so does anyone have a schematic for the ebcm wiring from the connector back I think its has to be a broken wire somewhere
do you mean clear the codes? yes many times I'm going to take apart the ground by the battery next, if that doesnt work I'm going to try and plug in a spare ebcm with the bpvm together if its possible to see if its the bpvm thats causing the no comm and the 1255 code
