Default clutch

is it time for a clutch? when i release my cluth. i can feel what i would say feels like a litttle bump right at the top inch of pedal travel. i can be sitting still and push the pedal about an inch in and back out and feel and hear it. i can feel it when i start off from a stand still and when i shift up through the gears. been doing this for about a week. the car is 02 zo6 with 95k miles. i have no idea if it has ever had a clutch. the clutch does not slip at all. any ideas? thanks!

If its engaging that far out on the pedal travel then you are probably at the end of life for it. When you replace it, get a new slave cylinder, pilot bearing and rear main engine oil seal.

it's engaging a little high but it's engaging way before i'm talking about feeling the bump. the bump is after it has engaged and you let the clutch out the rest of the way right before you take your foot off of the pedal. it sounds like the slave to me but not postive.yes i have got a price on replacing the clutch, pressure plat, flywheel, piolt, slave, remote bleeder and coupler on torque tube.
