An alignment is 40 bucks. Some cars, alignment is way off, others not so much. Problem is that many owners just bottom out the bolts as far as they go. If you look before hand, you will see that some bolts will have more threads exposed than others.
To avoid the next question, you measure at the frame rails

Good luck finding an alignment for $40...a four wheel alignment will cost more in the neighborhood of $60-80 depending on the shop.
Either way, that's much cheaper than new tires for $300+ each...
