If you bought your car used the previous owner may have had larger height tires and replaced them with stock when he sold the car--He must have had the speedo corrected to match the new tire height--
a stock C5 height should be 26" --Any handheld tuner should be able to correct this BUT you would need a FULL tuner to correct your "shift points"--on an A4----Is your car short shifting ???

You need tuning software to correct.
