What do you mean by "unbolted"? Are you trying to disconnect the lines from the rack? If so, it's kind of a pain. I found it easier to work through the left wheel well, and use a short 18mm wrench.
There very tight. I agree with lucky. If you use a correct size flare nut wrench (tubing wrench),, you will have a better chance of not rounding off the flare nut.
If you trust yourself (i.e. you have some patience) and maybe have a helping hand, you can remove the entire power steering system from the car without having to remove any lines. I just did this on my '02Z.
The steering rack will push through the pass side wheel well openingenough to get the rack, cooler and pump assy up and over the driver's side fender. A couple of the lines may have to bend just a bit, but I managed quite well.
Be careful... the cooler loves to cut flesh, and handling the whole assembly by yourself (as I did) is difficult at best. Looking back I would have had someone give me a hand.
OTOH, if you still have the original plastic power steering pulley on the pump you may not want to go down that route! Getting my pulley (rather, the small steel hub) off the pump was litterally a nightmare that I would not go through again. I would rather just buy a new pump, press a new steel C6 pulley onto it and be done.
