Default no power to either door

Opened my window and could not close it. The passenger side controls are the same way but that window is up. Doors will not automatically lock when I get to speed.

Any ideas? I click the switches on the door and nothing.

My first thought is to check the fuses.

If the fuses have blown, pull back the rubber gaiters in the door hinge and check for chafing. Its a common issue.

Disconnect the battery

Pull the rubber gromet from door wiring to cowl out

Pull out connector

Pull connector apart

take needle nose plier and tweek pins to put more wipe on them

reassemble

There serial link to door modules is low current and if the connection has any kind of voltage drop accross the pins it will not communicate.

Start with left door.

I should also mention:

The doors will lock if I use my remote to lock but will not if I try to use the door switch. If the doors are locking, I should be getting power, right?

I forgot to mention that since I was on my cell phone when the posted the original post.

Bought a fuse tester and I'm going to go through the shop manual before I get out there and start working.

Another weird thing, everything ended up working yesterday afternoon and kept working this morning.

Any ideas on this now?

Sounds like your door control module is having issues then. There are relays inside which control the locking and unlocking and since the serial data signal is getting through and funtioning for locking and unlocking, then maybe the door switch itself to the door control module has an issue.
