Weather Stripping Kit for a 97
I apologize if this is the wrong area for this question. Newbie here.

Ok, does anyone know where to get a Weather Strip kit for a 97, for less than $2000. I mean, really? $2k.
I really need it and if I have to pay it..... I'll get drunk and buy it. But someone here has to have an in..
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you visited your LOCAL stealership????
Try these people:
www.gmpartshouse.com and talk to Gene or Patrick for OEM GM Parts
Then try www.zip-corvette.com for aftermarket gaskets.
Weather seal Gaskets are expensive. Whats wrong with yours??
Pictures will help. Ive repaired a LOT of weather seals. I use black RTV.
Sometimes they can be repaired.

BC, they are old. Leak, wind noise, wont' hold the window out.. Just getting tired, and need replaced.

In the service manual theres an extensive door window and top adjustment procedure. If the gaskets are not ripped up, that may be just what it needs to seal better.
Might save you some cash if you try it and it works for you.
