A/C control panel out temp...not working properly
hello ..im new here hope someone can help..I have a 2000 corvette...the Heat and a/c control panel has a mind of its own..the out side temp will display 35 degrees when it 90 degrees out but this number will change it's never the same not sure why ...and when the temp now is in th 40 i put the heat on and with in a few minutes the a/c will come on..whats going on...and what can be done to fix it .....Thank if you can help..

Well, you need to fix the outside air temp thermistor which is poking through the lower front condensor plastic shield. Its down under the bumper on the side/center. Check its connections too for cleanliness. Also, you should pull the codes via the DIC and post them and include the "H" or "C"s as you find. In this case, pay attention to the HVAC codes.
