I'm hoping the motor is fine. No liquids present except a small dab from the clutch. no news from the shop so I don't think they got to it today. Now I have to wait til Monday. On the trailer it looked pretty limited to just the housing and the clutch, but once it starts coming apart....
So the textralia oz 700 is on nationzal backorder for at least 90 days so the shop pick a new clutch. Damage is limited to clutch and housing only. all parts are on order except the clutch. I'm thinking RPS Twin Carbon... Any ideas...

I've heard any twin disk design is much more street friendly, when it comes to engagement. I don't know about you but my oz700 is either on or off. It does not like to slip, so starting off can be a little tricky sometimes. I love how it holds but it's street manors leave a little to be desired. I think RPS was one of the models I was told was strong and had very nice street manors to boot. Do a search on this forum and you should find some good info. Good luck, and glad to hear that the damage was contained.
I understand that you have bigger problems at the moment but I would think with a 427 and etp 245's you would make more power. Even on a mustang dyno I would expect more.

Twin disk is what I'm looking for. The oz700 was a little harsh from a stop for everyday driving.

This motor previously had a smaller cam and a 90/90 setup on it and made 560-570rwhp on a dyno jet so factor 20% for a mustang dyno and that's 475ish. Upgrading to a bigger cam and a 107/107 setup i was hoping for around 500 or more on the mustang dyno. Thunder racing, for the cam, said with this bulid it should be 590-600 hp on a dyno jet. I don't think it was all lost through the clutch as it showed no slippage. The trans shifts great so i don't think I'm losing any there. There is only 30xxx miles on the car and driveline. I'm not sure where to go next. I think I'll get my tune from my tuner and post it up in the tune section for some advice later this week.
I've the RPS Twin Street Lite as others have posted, I find it reasonable to modulate once you practice a bit. It diffidently holds & grabs when its time to go. Unfortunately my last drive of the season something went sideways & I cannot disengage .....still diggin into that issue. I'm very lucky when I see what happened with your's, that could have been far worse!
If that Mustang dyno you were on is calibrated & set up as recommended by Mustang those numbers look in the zone. The operators should be able to compare similar build & power levels such as a C6 Z06 & GT 500's.
I use HPT so there are indicators you can log as well that help to understand if its making power or not. For fun I made a little post over in the C6 section, here the link if you want to check it out.
I ran a RAM Dual Street and it was a great clutch except for a lot of rattle. I tried a Spec 3+ for a while but the drivability was no where near as good as the RAM and it wouldn't shift at the track. I'm running an RPS CC Street Lite now and it's a great clutch! Very smooth engagement and the car is much nicer to drive in heavy traffic, parking lots, etc. Highly recommend!

I just ordered the RPS street twin carbon lite clutch kit, bearings, new slave and remote bleeder. I read about 500 reviews on various clutches last night. Lots of info. I wanted a good daily driver clutch that will take the occasional weekend romp. I'm looking forward to it.
