Okay, so here is the deal. I have a 99' FRC and I have heard about this setting called twilight sentinel. I searched my DIC screen for this setting, however I don't believe my car has this option. Here is the problem, I can be driving down a dark wooded area where it isn't lighted very well, and every once in awhile no matter whether my headlight are on dim or bright sometimes they dim down a bit and come right back. I was wondering if it may have some fluctuation in voltage, but I have watched my alternator and it isn't dropping voltage, so it is working properly. What else could this be (possibly a voltage regulator, if the car even has one)? Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks -David

Twilight Sentinel will turn on your headlights when the ambient light gets dark enough to trigger the sensor on your dash. It does not dim anything. Only three things can cause flickering/dimming. An intermittent connection (power or ground), a highly resistive connection (power or ground), or an intermittent short (to ground) in the power lead. Good luck
Thanks for the info guys, I'll definitely have to check my ground wire and check all positive of my connections. Although now that it has been mentioned I believe it could possibly be the ground from the looks of it. I'll give it a shot and let you know how it worked out.
Thanks again -David
I have experienced that too. In addition to the headlights, the dash lights would dim too, not all the time, just once in a while. Since replacing the battery about two years ago the problem has not returned. The thing is it may not have been the battery but maybe a dirty/corroded terminal, loose terminal, who knows. When I replaced my battery I cleaned all the connectors and made sure the terminals were nice and tight, something I never checked on my original battery. May or may not be your problem but certainly worth a look into.
