A plea for help from the performance gurus...
I was thinking of getting the 6.0L truck heads and porting them. If so what can I expect from my boost levels and HP will it be worth doing with out increasing the boost levels I'm curently at :confused:

If you lower the compression without raising the boost, you will lose probably 10-15rwhp... But then you will probably pick that power back up, and some extra, if you get some real good porting work done to the 6.0L heads. A cam would also help out.

I like MattG's answer, the port work will be worth some ponies, but the lower compression will hurt power a little bit. How about raising the boost, is that possible? That way you can take advantage of the lower compression the heads will give you.
