Ive been having a problem lately that whenever I am coming to a stop or turning and disengaging the clutch the car will bog down to 500rpm then up to 1k then back down then even out. Car doesn't surge when idling if I rev it up in neutral sometimes it will drop down to 500rpm again then back up till it evens out.
However it always happens when disengaging the clutch I haven't had this car for too long nor driven it very much but it is starting to become a nuisance. I got a tune hoping to steady it out helped a little but did not fix it. Any ideas? MAF dirty? Bad tune? this is a 1998 Corvette 383 stroker/heads/cam
Yep checked the hoses I had converted the pcv system into the ls6 valley mod. I just find it so weird it does it when I disengage the clutch and coming to a stop or turn :/
Mine used to do exactly what your describing. I checked all the hoses and sprayed with carb cleaner and couldn't find any leaks. I ended up replacing the silicone coupler between my halltech intake and my throttle body and it went away...
I had a pretty bad leak and it would only want to stall out when it was cold right after I started it up. Once I fixed it, it was almost impossible to keep it running. You had to keep your foot on the gas when you were coming up to a stop or else it would stall.
