good afternoon, I have a simple problem,that I can t quite resolve,rr tire sensor shows xxxx in the dic, I do the tire training and it last for a day or half day, then get the service tire system,retrain,gone, then comes back next day,do I need to replace the tpm ? I would like to think not,it only started showing up after I had a flat on that wheel,ever since the msg has been there. 02 so no battery required to operate them.
any ideas would be appreciated.

I believe that Tire Rack has them pretty inexpensive. You need to call and ask for them as they are near impossible to find on their web site. Next cheapest is Gene Culley at GMPartshouse.com
If you cut one apart please take pictures and post them. I for one would be interested in what the internals look like.
They definitely have batterys. How else could they communicate to the RFA which then sends the info to the PCM to be displayed in the DIC.
