Very Cool! Is this DRL bulb also the turn signal bulb? If so it might be illegal, I think the turn signal bulb must flash yellow. :( Even if you have Euro clears on the rears I think the bulb must flash yellow. I still might have to do it when one of mine burns out. ;)

Yes, it's the turn signal bulb. However it still has a very slight amber tint to it :)

Someone looked up the law in CA sometime ago and posted verbatim. It stated amber or white are legal for turn signals. Naturally, your state may vary, but CA is usually pickiest with car stuff. I've never had any problems anywhere I've been, south, south east, and midwest. Good luck!

Hey Levi,
Where were your usefull instructions a year ago when I did my '99. I went from the top (with the headlights in the up position). It was a real beeotch. I like your way better. Thanks for the insight. I love the look too.
Now if we could just get rid of those yellow reflectors up front, we would really have a different look.
Does anyone have a damaged or spare front turn signal lense assembly that they would like to part with???
I'd like to do some surgery to see about getting rid of the amber reflector, but I don't want to go cutting on mine if it doesn't work out.
Anyone? :smash: :smash: :smash: :D
