I've had them and they are cheap for a reason. They are crap! The lens started showing stress crack within a month,They don't fit very well and there is no adjustment for fitting them to the body. Plus they just look cheap when installed. I would replace your lids. I've seen them on the forum for as low as $100 each. If your light are functional for the exception of the lid.Go with the OEM. There are some better projection fix lights for the C5,but they are much more, around $1000 to $1500 for a set. Look at my picture,I think i still have my old 98 on there with the lights installed. However,If you do go ahead and installed the projection lights,I would be interested in purchasing you OEM ones.
Pros, great with HIDs installed since oem light output is horrible.
Cons, fitment and it's not visually appealing imo
I'll look for a lid first, how bad is the damage?
Hi I bought a set of direct replacement headlamps from ebay (D5_ concept) they have a projector light built in, replaced the cheap bulb they came with (Piaa cost £75), they are really good and keep the O/E look, also came with wiring harness so on high beam all four lights come on

I re-attached the rear broken part (the one with 2 crews) with JB Weld yesterday. The one side is toast so I have the rear and other side to hold on to it. The other side I'm going to secure it with the same screw but using a larger washer to help secure it. I thought I would give the JB 24hrs to cure before re-installing them.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
I'll post after I finish and let you know how it went.

3M sells a product just for this purpose. Go www.3M.com and search tabs repairs. They have a video on how to do it.
Which frankly where my forst choice.
I understand that adusting the beam is rather difficult if not impossable tho.
These lights fit and adjust like OEM though I thjnk if you fit HIDS you might have to modify the housing (cut away a small amount ) to accomodate the bigger bulb

You may have.
I have a thread regarding the headlight lid, a thread regarding input on replacing my headlights with projectors and discarding the lids altogether and one on input on a tow package.
Sorry for any confusion.
