Window glass differences
I've got window glass and windshields removed in late '80s or early '90s from Corvettes being turned into race cars. How can I tell what year car they came out of? Is the glass the same for every C4?

The only differences in C5 windshields is the ZO6 (2002-2004) windshields is thinner than the coupe and convertible windshields and has a coating on the inside to enhance the heads up display reflection to the driver.

I have an 02 vert and always thought that I had the thicker glass but after some research I found that starting in 02 and up verts w/hud and the ZO6 came with 4.8mm all others have 5.4mm thickness glass and have a weight savings of 2.65 lbs.
