Automatic transmission and tuning
The Wife and I have been looking at 08 or newer coupes. We had no opinion on what drive we would get until we finally drove both. The auto was a stock 08 coupe. The 08 auto trans has very different shifting characteristics than our current 99 coupe. Is it possible to tune the 99's trans to the same characteristics as the 08?
One example would be when you push the gas pedal down a little but not far enough to kick down, sometimes it actually upshifts. Has anyone else noticed this?

YES!! A good tuner with EFI Live or HP Tuners can modify many Automatic Tranny functions. Shift firmness, shift points. Kick Down point up shift points,, etc.
