rear end advice
OK. My car is a a4. With 3.90dte built read end. That was in it when I purchased the car. I would like to go to 3.42. Would I be better of buying and swap gears and try and sell the 3.90's or buy a used 3.42 assembly used carrier and all and pay to have that swap and sell my whole diff and housing? Which way is cheaper?

Unless you have the special Kent Moore tools and special training to set up a C5/C6 rearend,,, you better find a shop that does or a good used replacement!
