The left rear sensor on my '98 went bad. I had it replaced at the local tire shop and then took it to the Chevy dealer to have it reprogramed. He followed the procedure in the manual, the car seemed to be accepting each wheel in the procedure. Now none of the sensors work. No pressure reading from any wheel. Any suggestion?

Have you driven the car since the programming?

Yes , about 100 miles. It seems the TPMS and the key remote both have to be programed at the same time. May have to go to another dealer, the one that reprogramed it for me does not want to work on a car over 10 years old. What's up with that?

They don't have to be programmed at the same time (key fob and tmps), and you don't need a dealer. You can program them yourself through the DIC and using a magnet at the wheel. It only takes a couple of minutes and it's free. I'm not going to type out all the instructions, but if you'll do a search here, you'll find the simple instructions.

Get yourself a strong magnet and do it yourself. Easy thing to do.
