Lost knife
Took ash tray out of my o1Z for a place to put my garage door opener.Had the opener out and put my Swiss Army knife in the ash tray slot and it fell down inside the console.Can't see it .Tried a telescoping magnet and couldn't get it.What is the easiest way to get inside to lift up front of console?Thanx in advance!

It's only a little complicated and I'm sure someone's got an illustration of how to pull the console off in a dash or stereo replacement thread.

Its really pretty simple all you have to do is pull the bezel off from around the radio and climate control as show in the link, just be careful with the plastic ring that holds your shifter boot in place.
