Default 2000 MN6 Drain Plug ???

I just bought a 2000 FRC and am going through everything. The Manual trans does not have a drain plug. I have searched the forums and have seen not mention of this. I know that GM says that you never have to change the fluid but it shifts a little knotchy so I would like to change it with p/n 88861800. Am I missing something with respect to the drain??? Other treads in the forum mention a drain plug.
Thanks for the help. Jim

It should be on the rear passenger side if I remember correctly.

I have had it on the lift twice to look for it. Will look again tomorrow. I have a plug that is clearly marked "FILL" ( about half way up the side of the trans) with just a 3/8 plug, no electrical connection. The electrical connection is much higher on the trans. I will look again but I did look pretty good last time. Thanks

If you notice, the C5 in the procedure is a Z06, which is why it has a trans temp sensor as the fill plug. All Z06 and European export C5's, had a trans temp sensor in a manual.

I guess the ultimate question is, " have any been made without drain plugs" ??? I did check the passenger side. I can't believe I could have missed it, But it is possible. Thanks for the input. Jim

I have a 2000 FRC, and yes the trans drain plug is on the passenger side at the rear of the trans.
