What size wheel spacers needed?
I have an 04' Cpe, with a targa top, NON Z06 I'm going to be running ccw 505's with 325/30/19 rears and 285/30/19's in nitto invo tires some have told me they won't fit, others told me the rears will work witouut spacers, others told me rears will need spacers some have told me the fronts will fit, others tell me they wont but I'm assuming I wont need spacers for the front but I "might" need them for the rears. I was told that nitto invos run smaller then other brands so everything should work, its just a matter of; "do I need spacers for the rears? and if so what size, how do I figure out the back spacing on the rims to know for sure? Is anyone selling a set or where could I find them new? The car is not tubbed or mini tubbed and its going in a stock wheel well housing on the fronts and rears I understand they make 4mm and 5mm spacers and maybe even other sizes but no one seems to know a definitive answer to these questions and I'd hate to buy tires only to have to ship them back and pay a restocking fee on yop of all that. If you're buying the wheels new from CCW, I'll bet they (owner John) can tell you what is needed. They may be able to adjust the backspacing to reduce or eliminate the need for spacers. You can buy tires through CCW, have them mounted/balanced and shipped ready to install.
