Is anybody making 800+ whp with a stock tb and ls6 intake. Been thinking about going fast 102 combo but $1800 is a hard pill to swallow for 30 or so hp. So if I can make that much power with what I have that will save me some serious coin.

I know one guy who was just under 1000 rwhp with a 2001+ intake, and stock throttle body......with a twin turbo setup.
i've also heard the rumors that the LS2 intake isnt an upgrade. I'd research on that first.
By the way the '98 that I bought was running somewhere in the 700-800 rwhp range at one point on my LS6 intake. He ran a 2 bar SD tune and alot of boost on a forged 408 stroker with Trick Flow heads. IMO he should have went with the FAST since he had spent so much coin on everything else. The LS6 intake and TB was probably choking the TF heads.

Only thing missing is the performance hood seal. Seriously 700hp isn't enough? Makes me rethink my plan. I guess enough is never enough. I'm not knocking you I just always thought one day I'd be at the end of the project and posts like this make me rethink things.
To the OP. The LS6 intake is really hogged out, as a result it will flow some cfm's. To me the FAST isn't worth the extra money for the minimal gain.
i may be wrong, but i thought i'd read that the sonic welding on the LS2 intake was weaker than whatever the LS6 is manufactured with. not sure if that's a "good to know" thing or if 10 psi would really start to be a concern. just another thing to check on.
