Used it 10 years ago in my '79 Firebird Formula because I was afraid to switch an older car to all synthetic. Although I never had a problem, I was told by a Mobil-1 Rep that it was nothing more than synthetic hydrolic fluid. Not to mention that 10 years ago militec-1 retailed for almost $200/gallon! I'm afraid to hear what it costs now.
I was told that the Mobil Corp. had independently tested many aftermarket oil additives such as slick-50, tufoil, militec-1, among others and came up with this determination. Today I use Redline synthetic fluids and I am extremely satisfied.
