Default Just shutting off...

I JUST got my 01' going again after replacing the leaking Master Cylinder with a Tick perfomance one. My wife just called and said that she started the car and it ran fine for about 15 seconds and then shut off with out any warning signs/lights. I haven't yet looked into the issue (I'm at work). Do you guys have any clue as to what it could be? I'm guessing pump.

If so, what are your suggestions for a pump? I've got plans for a cam, heads, and LT's in the spring. Walbro 255? Prices for a vett?

When you get home, take a look at the DIC and pull the codes. That will point you in the right direction of the problem.
Low/discharged battery or thirty other "things"
Pull the codes, first....and get back to us.

Well.... turns out it is a clutch issue again. The New Master didn't fix it. What was happening is Becky was starting the car with the clutch in however, the system bled down not allowing the clutch to disengage. Therefore when she started the car the first time there was enough pressure to disengage the clutch then it slowly lost pressure and began trying to move, but she was on the brake and car stalled... and would start back with the clutch and brake engaged...

SO......................... back to having to remove the drive train to replace the slave.... damn.

Have you replaced the slave yet and did you do it yourself? I know there are people who have done this job on jackstands and I'm considering doing it myself. How much will it take to do it? I've gotten $1000 estimates for the labor and that's a nice chunk of change to save.

Be very careful not to over adjust the Tick. You can easily over extend the slave and then it's certainly time to drop the TT and replace the slave. Follow the Tick adjustment directions EXPLICITLY!
