We have been testing different combinations of headers both short and longtubes and the bellangers have performed really well! This test has been done on a 01 Z06 with stock catback and a Halltech Tric Intake. The car has no tuning done whatsoever and peak power is now at 367.4 rwhp. I will post a dynograph of the before and after for everyone as soon as I can. We are still in the process of finishing up moving into our new building. We now have over 5000 square feet of shop area to better serve our customers and we have also added a gm master tech that specializes in fuel and driveability to better enhance our business. Our new address is 2500 4th Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois 61201 and our new number is (309)793-FAST or (866)869-5270.
Re: Bellanger Headers net 24.7 rwhp! (Tech tuner@Cerra Racing)
Mike, that's a good gain. Which other systems have you tested and what were the results? Were any A/F adjustments made to the car before getting the final numbers or was that bolt on and dyno? Any idea of the A/F ratio?
Re: Bellanger Headers net 24.7 rwhp! (Tech tuner@Cerra Racing)
On my '00 C-5, 6 spd, I ran a base line dyno in Feb of 316.7 rwhp, 327.0 rwtq, SAE corrected with the Donaldson and B&B PRT's.
In March - same Dyno (at Xtreme Motorsports - Nate & Co., did the installs), ran 338.9 rwhp and 344.9 rwtq with the Belanger's and the LS-6 intake installed for a gain of 21.3 rwhp and 17.9 rwtq - about what I expected.
