Of those who have installed the brake bias spring, do you see any improvement and is it worth the $ and install. How difficult is it to install? Mid America sells it for $29.99 and claims it to stop you 20 feet quicker at 60 mph. :bs
Buy it from Dour Rippie Motorsports. I got it from them for about $13. Yes it does work. I did it mostly to help stop warping the front rotors by putting more rear break in the car.
When I last changed my pads before the spring my fronts were toast but the rears looked new. Now since I have used the spring the wear seems more even.
If you have a 2000 or earlier car it may help. 2001 and 2002 cars have dynamic rear proportioning. I have it installed on my 97 but haven't really noticed any huge benefit.

You don't need to bleed the brakes but you will need strong fingers. I thought I was going to break the fitting off with all the force it took to get the new spring in.
