Brake bias spring??????????
Of those who have installed the brake bias spring, do you see any improvement and is it worth the $ and install. How difficult is it to install? Mid America sells it for $29.99 and claims it to stop you 20 feet quicker at 60 mph. :crazy:

Buy it from Dour Rippie Motorsports. I got it from them for about $13. Yes it does work. I did it mostly to help stop warping the front rotors by putting more rear break in the car.
When I last changed my pads before the spring my fronts were toast but the rears looked new. Now since I have used the spring the wear seems more even.

If you have a 2000 or earlier car it may help. 2001 and 2002 cars have dynamic rear proportioning. I have it installed on my 97 but haven't really noticed any huge benefit.

Works great but get it from DRM my pads wear even frt & rear takes the dive out of car. Great mod. 15 minute job to install with good fingers.

You don't need to bleed the brakes but you will need strong fingers. I thought I was going to break the fitting off with all the force it took to get the new spring in.

Small breaker bar helps.
You can definitely feel a difference in the F/R balance of the car. Much more confident and under control. Noticeably less nose dive.
Can't confirm any braking distance improvement, but I'm sure it's there. I'll take it for control in any case. Great mod. $15 DRM.
