I don't know what the differences are, but I can tell you that 1997 through 1999 use part number 17113564 and 2000 through 2004 use part number 17113669 for both LS1 and LS6.

Sorry. Yes it will fit as its the same 78mm part used. I don't know what I was thinking when I answered. I should have stated that the ZO6 MAF and 01 and up intake flow more and the throttle body is the same size.
