Le Mans Master
Why? What do you want to achieve?
AFAIK the ignition system is not a bottleneck for moderate builds by any means.

Short answer is yes, but unless you're running some mods, there's not much need for them. I'll post a link but remember all the stuff you read is being pitched by the company that's trying to sell these.

LS1, LS6, LS2,,,, etc.. Have excellent ignition systems. The STOCK coils work well into the 700-800 HP range
There is ZERO magic HP if you purchase a $500.00 set of wires, $25 dollar each plugs and get Super Wham-O-Dyne $$$$ coils.
The LS2 coils are a little better than the C5 LS1/LS6 Coils in that they will take more dwell without overheating.
I would NOT worry about coils,, Unless you have some serious HP and or Forced Induction and you are experiencing issues with misfires under heavy acceleration full throttle loads, and the wires and plugs are not the issue.
SPARK PLUG WIRES. I have found the best bang for the buck (quality and performance ) is a set of GM Performance RED wires. Wires DO NOT add HP. You should look for quality construction, excellent materials and proper fit. Those wires do all that and only cost around $60.
If you have headers that burn up any wire that you install, them you have to spend the bucks and get the ceramic wires that resist extreme heat.
