Rear window defogger tabs
The window washer 
at the car wash has managed to break both off the wire to the defogger tabs on the window. I have a repair kit on order but wanted to know what is the best method to remove the now unattached window tabs.
Is the epoxy heat sensitive? Can I use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the epoxy so I can remove them. I figure if I can get them off I can solder the wire back on. I understand that I will need to use a special epoxy to replace them as it will have conductive material suspended in it to complete the connection.
