Default Kooks mids -> catback. Flange not even.

I am not sure if it's a problem with my corsa or my kooks mids yet, but when fully tightened, the 2 hole catback gasket is not tight.

Anything I can do other than take it to a exhaust shop to get resurfaced? I think it is just slightly off, because the gasket is still snug, but it is definitely leaking there, so I have to do something. Someone on another forum mentioned taking a hammer to it, but I am afraid to make it even worse.

Default leak

I would just buy a couple more gaskets and see if that solves the prob. if its just loose a small amount a gasket should fix it

A little bit of high temp rtv on the gasket might help too.

Default leak

from the looks of it the gaskets might work if not I would find a good shop and have them heat the flanges red hot and squeeze them together some with big pair of vicegrips or clamp

That's way off, something is bent... Take it to an exhaust shop and have them fix it.

That or the flange wasnt welded on square, cause from the looks of it there is a 1/16th inch gap on either side of the gasket.
