Default Lug nut removal on HRE wheels?

Having trouble getting a socket that fits. Tried several sizes including a 19mm deep well socket, but nothing fits that I have. Doesn't even start to grip. I cannot tell for sure, but I think socket is hitting wall of the wheel opening, as there is very little space around lug nut. Any advice?

Yeah I figured it was not fitting due to space, just wanted others opinion. Harbor Freight has a 4 Piece 1/2" Drive Lug Nut Socket Set that I may try. It doesn't say thin wall, but since it is made for lug nuts figure it probably is. Can get it locally and return if it doesn't fit. A lot of the "thin wall" on line don't look any thiner than what I have. I wish I had something larger than a 19mm to just test it.

I use a chrome 3/8 drive socket with a 1/2" adapter for wheels requiring a thin socket. I would stay away from using a cheap socket. If the socket were to break there is a good chance you are going to damage your rim.

this is actually a good idea if you have a 3/8 19mm around

Figured out the problem, the nuts are 13/16. Used one of my standard sockets and worked fine. thx
